A Nightmare!
Waking up in the
middle of the night,
sweat pouring down
the childs tender face.
Her lungs pressing
a pierced scream
up through her throat.
Tears flowing out
like a waterfall!
Nothing but a
gentle,
and soothing voice
can help to calm
this innocent childs fear.
She opens her eyes
and the crying slows
to a mere whimpering,
as she becomes
aware of the love
surrounding her,
her heart and her soul!
Finally,
the crying stops
and a small, yet,
angelic smile
creeps upon her face;
as she realizes
that it was a
nightmare,
and nothing more!
