Oh, Beautiful Child, Part 4

Folder:
Children's Poetry

Oh, beautiful child, we can fly away to an island of many rocks;
We'll still use our manners,
butm we don't need to wear socks!

Oh, beautiful child, you have made such wonderful sea creatures.
You made them with your own two hands;
You didn't even need your teachers.

Oh, beautiful child, your picture makes me happy and chilly;
I hope you never grow so serious;
That we can no longer be silly.

Oh, beautiful child, with the same hind of yarn you use to make your latchhook,
You have used to make a picture
I could see on the cover of a matchbook.

Oh, beautiful child, you have used many colors to make your butterfly;
You made it so nice with your stencils and colored pencils;
That I think I could cry.
