Steak'ems is a kitty angel who loved to hide; she crawled into places small, not wide.
She did a lot in her life before she recently died.

She did a lot from the start; but, it turns out she had a very weak heart.
She loved to cuddle in Mommy's and Daddy's lap; and curl up and take a nap.

Stay-kums, Stay-kums; I love a kitty named Steak'ems;
Steak-ems, Steak-ems, she was one of the sweetest kitties I know.

She loved to look out the window; and to watch the wind blow.
She got excited when she saw leaves fly around; she was very sensitive to exciting sounds.

Her ears perked up and she ran to find out; what the noise was all about.
She liked to play with ribbons and string; she liked it when the weather was nice in the spring.

If Mommy was sad, she had a cure; when she started to purr as Mommy pet her soft fur.
Steak'ems was cute when she slept on her face; she could sleep almost any place!

She stayed very clean; she preened her coat day and night; it helped when Mommy bushed her fur black and white.
She loved to eat her vegetarian food; she begged for treats, but it was cute; not rude.

Mommy made a stuffed angel, because Steak'ems won't let her; ever, ever, ever forget her.
But, now life is moving on and I've got a kitten named Reese's; and boy, I really love her to pieces!
