When the sun was shining,And the trees withering,When the streams were drying, And the creatures dying,When the wind was abating,And the heat was rising,When his hunger was killing,And the thirst exasperating,He thought of his end…Ah, but there he waited for the end…To face the end… Not to die a coward, He walked forward…And the endurance disbursed him,The oasis…the trees…the food… the men…The children…and the women…All welcomed him.
