Contradiction

Folder:
Poems 2004

I am a sinister smile,
I am a loving glare,
I am a hated love,
And I am a harmless dare.

I am the night's day,
I am the day's night,
I am wrong,
Yet I am always right.

I feel the pain,
And I begin to smile,
I accept what is happening,
Yet I am in denial.

I don?t want what I like,
And I want what I despise,
I am the lying truth,
And I am all the truthful lies.

I am a silent scream,
And I am the virgin whore,
I ask for les,
When all I want is more.

I am the one you hate to love,
And I am the one you love to hate,
I am an accident,
Yet I am your fate.

I am all,
And I am nothing,
I am worthless,
Yet I am worth something.

I am a contradiction,
All that cannot be,
Trust all that I say,
For I am lying to thee.
