Am I to flee this place
or stay here and risk death
not sudden death
but death by disease
disease... cancer
caused by the tons of radiation
that have been released
into the atmosphere

All of them
so am I to believe
that it is safe out there?
that I shouldn't care
I should not beware
I don't want to leave here
I have obligations
my eyes have grown tired
starting to feel weary
wonder if I should be scared
