Good Bye

Love Poems

I'm affraid to leave you here,

I'm affraid to say goodbye.

My heart is pounding as I turn to you and look you in the eyes.

So affraid of what you'll say, I began to cry;

Will I lose your warm embrace?

When you tell me the truth.

Who do you believe in?

Please tell me, who do you love?

Will I see you leave me,

or will you shower me with love?

You hold my face inside your hands,

Your tender voice pains me inside.

I lift my eyes into your gaze,

The question slips from my mouth.

Your eyes grow wide and then they fade.

Your smile makes me shake.

My heart has froze as you tell what I don't want to hear.

My eyes fill with tears as I sacrifice our lifes.

We will not feel the same way again;

our hearts will change,

Our memories left with them.

Please keep this kiss, inside your dreams,

For things will never be the same.

I hold you here in my arms;

You lay asleep and I cry for my love.

Forgive me please, it has to be done.

Now I leave and say,

Good bye.
