Let us smile to young or old
To sad faces we meet along the road
To those who suffer in hunger and cold
To those we smile in our heart
Let us think not once but twice
About the criticisms they call advice
About words we use that didn’t sound nice
About these we think in our heart
Let us pray for good or bad
For those around who now feel sad
For those who miss what they once had
For those we pray in our heart
Let us show our love again
For those once loved but left us pain
About the times when neither explain
To them we show our heart
