Do you know how hard it is to go
Do you know how hard it is to stay
Do you know how hard it is for me
Day after day
I'm broken inside, while Steadfast in time
I stand in the breach, I am the Line
My skin breaks, my soul bleeds
But too much dies if i flee
So I don the shield, put on the armor
Knowing the fire awaits, to burn me asunder
I still go, knowing the cost
I still go, knowing I already lost
I willingly lay my life down
I throw it away
I only hope you can find solace
In these words I say
The acts I do, the Atrocities I take
The fire I endure, the foes I create
It was all for you,
despite it's hue
it was all for you,
for you said
"I do."
