“Ain’t All That”



You ain’t all that is all you say to me!

I’m tired of hearing that; can’t you see?

I hear it from you and practically everywhere I go.

I ain’t trying to hear you; doesn’t it show?

What is it about me that makes you think your insults are ok?

Does that ever work for you? Do you really get dates that way?

I don’t care what you think of me, I just want you out of my face!!!

If I ain’t all that; then why is in my presence your favorite place?

If I ain’t all that; what is it to you?

Does telling me this give you something to do?

I ain’t all that but apparently I’m enough to be on your mind.

You telling me this is just a waist of your time.

I ain’t all that; this may be true!

But you’re forever sweating me; so what does that make you?
