Breathe You In

Folder:
God (Inspired by)

I try to exhale,
let everything out
I’ve been holding back.

The toxins in my lungs
flood out as quickly
as they once flowed in.

I’ve cleared the path
to let you inside.

Then I breathe you in,
the air of remedy;
I begin to inhale
your oxygen that restores.

I let your blood circulate
with my new calling.

I feel transformed.

The fear of becoming
has all but dissipated;
your love fills me up.
