Writing for Writing’s Sake

Personal (Hope)

I just need to write now and not have to worry about my line breaks or metaphors. So excuse me if I’m not grammatically correct and if I run on but I’m writing for writing’s sake.

Letters meld together to form words and words become sentences with a purpose. This is my calling. These words are my reason of being. This is the one thing that has always been in my life. Through everything I have been through, writing was the only constant. Friends have come and gone. Lovers have left. This is all that remains.

So thank you muse for your loyalty. And I hope my words help others. That’s why I let the world into my poetry. And if I can make anyone feel better then my job here is done.
