The Storm Will Pass

Personal (Hope) It’s pouring,
and I’d rather
close the blinds
so I don’t have
to see the dark sky.
But instead,
I open the shades
and let the rain
come down on
this page.
It’s flooding
and I don’t mind
because I see
the sun trying to
peek through
and it’s pushing
the clouds away.
