Divine Revelation You once made me feel so alive
out there on the ocean
while we were alone.
My senses were heightened;
my mind raced a mile a minute.
I understood You with so much clarity;
I felt Your presence all around me.
I experienced Your unconditional love
as you wiped away all my fears and worries.
But I turned away from You and
sought comfort in worldly possessions.
You let me go find my own way,
follow a path of countless mistakes.
You didn’t abandon me for lack of love,
but because of it;
you wouldn’t force me to love You.
