Center Stage

They are blinded by the shine

of our enlightenment,

voices echo through the dome

shrouded with condescension.

We know better, don’t we?

We know everything,

we assume.

That’s why they are listening to us.

Or so we think.

But are they really?

Or are we just here

to entertain them,

puppets sans the strings...

dancing on beat to their own apathy.
