What a great feeling
that you believe
my feelings are a joke.

You crushed my spirit,
and your laughter
chills me to the bone.

This hurts me deeply-
my tears keep
falling with abandon.

I thought you cared
about me, never wanted
to cause me pain.

But you did, so
I'll cry myself to sleep
in the other room.
