Jericho and Goliath

Folder:
God (Inspired by)

I've marched around these walls,
screaming at the top of my lungs
until the walls shook...
but they never fell.

I've faced the giants
with a stone and a sling,
threw the rock as hard as I could...
but they never fell.

I've stared down
the mountains in front of me,
pushed them with all my might...
but they never fell.

I've tried to defeat my enemies
with my own strength,
but it proved futile,
time and time again.

I am weak in comparison to You;
I am meek in Your presence
because You are the giant,
You are the mountain.

You are immovable,
a steady foundation
that we tremble before,
for you make even walls crumble.
