2017: A Year of Loss

Dedications 2017 was a roller-coaster year.
I lost so many people this year from my life
and oftentimes they chose to walk out of my life.
I don't understand why people don't want to know me,
why they write me off completely.
I don't think I'm a bad person
and yet they still leave in droves.
I wish I knew why they decided to do that;
For all I know it's not because of
something I did.
But until I hear otherwise,
I have no choice but to assume that it's me.
What's wrong with me?
What is so awful about me
that I am always rejected?
