Then sitting next to you
every day for a year.
On each day,
you made me smile,
whether it was a joke
or simply listening
to my complaints.
I noticed that
I had feelings for you;
then one day
you declaring your own.
You awakened
a dormant desire in me.
You ignited a fire
in my soul.
And even if that
was a temporary emotion,
everything has changed.
I used to see the world
in shades of gray.
Now everything is
in magnficient color,
a rainbow of beauty.
All because of you,
