My heart was a swirling storm,
a tempest raging through me.

You came and calmed the winds,
brought light to the dark in me.

You were the sun in my night,

the peace in my rumbling chaos.

You surrounded me with love
when my thoughts were of hate.

When fear tried to enter in,
you replaced it with hope.

You broke into my heart
and filled it with your grace.
