Feathers pt. II

Extended Poetry

Feathers on her back

Take the air

Recieve the wind

Like a blow

To jugular so ripe

Feathers stand tall

Upon her working back

Pushing to the clouds

Shoving to the suns

Which one has siezed the day?

Which mood has set the stakes?

Into the sky

Suns or clouds

To clean your eyes away

Feathers do not care

As light as sunlight

Snoops around the bend

TO clean out the clutter

Of darkness in the closet

Of shadow on the windowsill

Feathers on her back

Fray off

Talons sprout

From clammy feet

Sprout like seeds through soil

From the center of the earth

To greet the suns hello

To greet the clouds goodnight

Feathers do not care.
