Grim Fear, Secret Child

Thou hath heard,

and thou hath known.

How absurd!

I go alone.

Thou art grim,

and thou art bored.

Where in thy brim

doth thou hoard?

Doth thou fear

the days of old?

Hark! and hear!

Be, here, the bold!

Be not...the secret child.

Bold thou must be, but not too wild.

Author's Notes/Comments:

In this poem, I have used a little of the Old English language:
Thou = you; Hath = have;
Art = are; Thy = your;
Doth = do.

These are the translations for the Old English that I have used for this perticular
piece of poetry.
