Diaphanous Mind

Oh! Diaphanous mind!

Diaphanous smile,

Diaphanous eyes!

Your cogent words

would cozen lamb

to a wolf in sheep's disguise

A lover's heart breaks to your

fair lips seeping through

fair dolorous lies

And to think that

one would be assured

that all that's left

is enchanting words?

Oh! Diaphanous mind!

Contageous fears,

paranoia lives within

Deceptive smiles

a beautiful kind

with muchless

than Diaphanous Mind.

Author's Notes/Comments:

To be honest. I'm not sure who or what this poem is about.
Half of it, I am sure, is about people who, though you can see right through them, you just keep crawling back.
Or it could be about other people seeing through you, and that being why you're so enthralled with them.

I'm not entirely sure, but I hope that someone can relate to it in some way or another.
