Where do I start?

My fucked up head?

Or my fucked up heart?

They say the world is falling apart,

But its always been like this.

Living in the illusion of happiness

Living in ignorant bliss

Looking for one last kiss

Does it ever get better than this?

We look to the sky and shake our fists

Asking why god did this

Asking why my kid

Asking why my husband

Asking why the violence

Asking for forgiveness

I will disappear

Life will be really bleak

Money is meaningless

Power is feelingless

If you want to be happy

Give more then you get

Live everyday without regret
