Walt Whitman: A Curious Poet

I have noticed one thing recently,

The word ‘curious’ does appear frequently,

In the poetry of Walt Whitman,

That proves his being a curious man.

As Albert Einstein emphasises curiosity,

So did Whitman through his poetry,

This must be his trademark,

That glows like gold in each of his work.

Has been successful in spreading the message,

An esteemed poet, a devotee of curiosity, a sage.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I have noticed that in almost all his poems, the word 'curious' is found, which definitely instructs us to be curious in life; if there is curiosity, there is creativity and progress. Whitman's emphasis on curiosity reminds us of another great and curious phenomenon Albert Einstein's words "The most important thing is to keep questioning".
