I did not cheat you,

As Esau was deceived by Jacob,

In the Book of Genesis,

Mentally and bodily you I did not rob!

I think I was as the charitable sky,

Easily read most of the time!

My heart was not an ocean of wickedness,

As that of Iago and Shylock, identical with crime!

All I dreamt was to live a peaceful life,

With you by my side as a shadow, my wife!
