Living the life of a scared closet mouse
Feeding in the lonely hours,
Sleeping at the break of dawn
In solitude the lion lives and feeds
Majestic and fierce. Fearless and shameless.
Ruling all within his domain
and fearing none that threatens
The mouse is lurking at dawn
Running and hiding. Fearing and fighting.
The mouse only reigns within the corner
Away from all harm and danger
The lion wants to come out,
But the mouse prefers to hide inside.
This epic battle between the cat and mouse,
Goes on much longer then they would prefer.
The day has finally come to an end
And it’s time to retreat.
Who will rise and rule tomorrow?
Will it be the mighty lion or the scared mouse?
