I wish that any moment now

I could wake up

And realize that this is just a dream



All the pain and sadness

Would be gone when I wake

Everything would be fine again



I wish I could wake up from the nightmare

I wish the horrors would just end

I wish I could wake up, now!



But sadly I realize this is not a dream

The pain, the sadness and tears are real

I must learn to deal with the truth



This realistic dream, which I live in.

Hopefully I can learn to live in it,

Because this isn’t a dream; it’s real.
