It brings tears to my eyes

to gaze upon such beauty

Someone descended straight from the heavens

Bringing pleasure to the souls on the earth



Though not all of us can be satisfied;

we are only allowed to look and never to touch

Oh, what heartache this brings

in the hearts of the lonely ones



Sighs empty my lungs

and I’m filled with ecstasy;

yet my soul remains empty

and the pain lingers on



Blindfolded I’ll go through life

So I won’t have to suffer anymore

My sight will be taken away

and I’ll mourn for the love I’ll never have
