From new creation to now.

Lots has happened. My parents passed and also my aunt who was like a second mom. I experienced heartache. The loss of children through still birth and miscarriages.  Married, divorced. Seen war, also seen beautiful places I would've never gotten the opportunity to see had I not taken that oath to serve my country.  Did the college thing a few times…lol. 

I’ve done things I’m proud of and not so proud of. Been with and around people that were not the best decisions I should have made. 

So in a few weeks I will be 53. I stopped celebrating birthdays for a while because when I was away from home it was just another day. My sister, Mammie used to be sure that once my daughter was born to celebrate my birthday every year because she said it was important. Even when our funds were somewhat limited one year my sister got me a donut with a candle and had them put “happy birthday lynn”. 

I have survived so much that I shouldn’t have. I will never again have another girlfriend. I’m delivered and refuse to do the open marriage or open relationship thing again. There’s so many things that I won’t do again in my life. I won’t even mention it here. God knows.
