Bathe your face with your tears

Let that wide river flow

Down your rose red cheeks



Cry away little lady

In the daylight

At the break of dawn

Cry like a wolf

In the bright moonlight



Off the bed

Lift your head

Let the whole world see

The pain and the fear

That's beyond skin deep



Cry now sweet child

When someone's listening

Cry your heart out

Under the spotlight



Cry now out loud!

Till someone takes their arm

And wraps it

Around your quivering shoulder

Don't be afraid

If someone pushes you away
