What happens when there’s nothing left

And everything disappears into thin air

Taking everything without a care

Will I have you and you have me

When my vivid dreams cease to exist

And you seem so far away

And when fantasy escapes

Never to see another day

Will I have you and you have me

When the wild rose grows in the winter cold

And the weightless eagle falls to the ground

And when there’s no hope to be found

And no one seems to be around

Will I have you and you have me

When you’ve said your last words to me

And I can no longer look into your eyes

When our joined spirits begin to fly

And we finally have to say goodbye

Will you cry for me and I cry for you

When we have land of our own

And we can finally call it home

When we can express what’s in our hearts
