Watch Collection
My grandfather is a very interesting man. He has lived a really hard working life and since he was little he was very passionate for watches. He admired his father ́s watches collection and always dreamed of having his own collection. Time passed and with hard work he managed to buy watches from all across the globe. He has cheap watches, very expensive watches, old watches, watches he has never used before, big watches, small watches, gold watches, rusty watches, every kind you can imagine he probably has two of them in his own collection. In every occasion he has travelled across the world he buys at least one watch to remember that place. I ́ve seen the collection myself, probably not all of them but I have seen a part of them. They are quite a lot and even he has lost count on how many watches he owns. Yes my grandfather is a lover of this things, and he is passionate enough to own a big collection. Since I was of young age I also loved watches because of him, every time I imagine my grandfather I imagine one of his watches. In honor to him, I also have a quite small collection of my own. Even though it is not a comparable number besides him, I feel quite proud because some of them were gifts from my grandfather or some that I bought with my own money. I remember every time I bought a new watch I went to his house to show him the new watch I bought, and every time he bought one he did the same thing and showed to me. He has showed me that watches represent more than just telling time. They show you have sense of time and that it is an important matter for you. I learned to be always on time because nowadays when you tell someone to meet at 3:00 they usually arrive at 3:30 or later. Some watches make you look classy and some others are just casual or show more of the personality of the person wearing them. If you look closely to my grandfather ́s watches you can see what kind of person he is. A classy man with a lot of knowledge and if I may say, a very high sense of fashion for his age.
