i forgot

As a youth I was silly, giggles flowing freely,

Even while in a marriage that broke my heart, still

I danced around, being silly and full of giggles,



I met you and was happier than I could ever imagine,

but years passed by and forces outside of our marriage

flooded my life,



Bitterness took the place of happiness, I could not laugh, I wanted to so much,

I miss the person I use to be, I want to dance in my living room, I want to laugh til I cry, I want to spend time with me,



But I can't remember the person I use to be, I have forgotten myself....
