Teach Me How To Lie

Everything inside
doesn't understand
Maybe I wasn't
meant to.

You loved
me like
a flowing river
expecting change.

I loved

you like

a permanant fixture
unending expectancy.

In every
kiss we
shared each day
never stopping.

Never thought
it would
take you to
learn lies.

I was
the unspeakable
truth in the

morning light.

You were

the easily

covered up lie
in the night.

So it
didn't matter
to me if

you did.

I was
willing to

forgive you so

rashly quick.

Teach me

how to

lie and sin

like you.

I'll teach

you how

to live another

truthful day.
