Let this be a lesson,
for anyone who walks this path,
there is nothing here but heartbreak,
and hurt in the aftermath,

There used to be a smile,
on this broken face of mine,
but that was when I thought I knew love,
and never paid the fine,

take me as an example,
don't make the mistakes I did,
I had to pay the money sometime,
but before that I hid.
