Even Though You’re Gone
Over these few long years that you’ve been gone, I have been up, down, sideways, and backwards. I felt alone when you were at my side and cold when you held me so tight. I felt distant when you were beside me and lonely when you were with me. When I shed a tear you stopped it and when I fell to the ground you picked me up. Now that I am grown don’t feel like I don’t need you because in my heart and in my soul I love you and I will always need you. You where always with me in life and will always be with me because the truth is you will never die, you live in me.
