Even when I was young
Hatred and discrimination
To me made no sense
Bullying
Labeling
To me
It was like
What's
The point
We are all
Who we are
Why can't
We just
Accept that
Why would
One person
For any reason
Mean more
Than another
It made no
Sense to me then
And it still makes
No sense to me now
This world
It makes me sad
We think
We are so
Progressive
I mean hell
It is 2014
But still
On far too much
Of a level
The haters, racists,
Bigots, and bullies
Are still winning
And we just
Let that be true
I don't know
About you
But that just
Makes no
Sense to me
