I believe
We are all
Born with a
Sense of peace
Most people
Can't understand
Or even see
And sadly
For the most part
That peace
That imagination
That believes
In something better
Is more often than not
Taught or somehow
Beaten out of us
By those who
Have no doubt
Lost touch
With it
They almost
Got me too
But what I am
Most proud of
Is I never fell
Completely
A victim of it
I still believe
That peace
Can be seen
If we really
Wanted it
To be
And we could
Change the world
If only we were
Willing to put in
The effort needed
I still believe this
