So much violence
Around the world
Makes me happy
That I live here
In this country
The land of the free
But lately my friends
It does seem
That violence
Has been gripping
This our great country
Mass shootings
Are not so rare
Not anymore
And they are not things
We can afford
To ignore
And I'm sorry
But the arguments
That are so against
Gun control
For me can't hold a candle
To the truth of what
Is going on
There is an epidemic
That is forming
And something
Soon must be done
