Worthless and nothing
Is what they call us
No doubt in an attempt
To destroy us
But we know better
Than to fall for
The hate
And the lies of others
We are dreamers
Justice seekers,
Peace seekers,
And believers
And we will not be silenced
By a society
That only thinks
It knows better
Without people
Like us
Who dare to think
Outside the box
The world would still be flat
And men would still be
Telling women
No you can't
So while you are
Pondering that fact
I just want to give an amen
To those
Who dared not
Accept what is
But instead saw
What could be
