Wondering
What exactly
It is fighting for
It used to know
But alas no more
Lost in a world
Not meant for me
The nightmares
And broken dreams
That haunt me
From years back
In my own history
Still make no sense to me
And I am still struggling
To just be me
Hiding myself
Within my daydreams
Wishing a better day
I will someday see
