My fear is not that
We don't see the changes
In life that are needed
But that we are too caught up
In our own hypocrisies
To let those changes ever be
We need to change the way
We see ourselves
And not give in
To the conformity
That has literally
Become societies
Most deadly disease
Drink the kool aid and follow me
Needs to instead be
Embrace who you are
And be forever free
We need to stop hating
What we are not understanding
And start reading
Instead of the cover
Always seeing
As a society
We need to stop judging
Instead of killing
We need to start saving
And those who are suffering
We need to be helping
And for a better tomorrow
We need to finally
Seriously start fighting
