The tragedies of society
That have always haunted history
Are still today repeating
And it seems all we claim to do
Never means a single thing
We preach acceptance and tolerance
Or so we claim
But if that's true
Then what's up with all the hate
Crying for change
But when it comes to accepting it
We get scared and run away
And as a result Just find
Another reason to hate
We wonder why our world
Is this way
But when we try to change
We get scared
And react with hate
The whole thing just seems insane
Can you please tell me
Yes this can you please explain
Why if when we fight for change
We then react to it in hate
