People who live to dream
And believe in better things
Exist to teach
And to reach
The people
Who refuse to see
The truth of society
They ask for almost nothing
Not even to be seen
But they do ask to be heard
By a screwed up world
That has drifted oh so far
Instead of wishing upon the stars
And accepting who we are
Society would rather scar
And fight whom we don't understand
We live in fear, hate, and bigotry
Not sure where we think with this
We are going
But without change there will soon be nothing
Left of a society
That is quickly fading
