To write just for money
Is to write with a soul
That is empty
I don't write because
I ever expect to make money
But rather to reach
Those in society
Who need to take
Some time to think
Relearn how to dream
And to teach
That society
To see the magic
That lives all around thee
All around us there is the peace
That we all claim to seek
But that peace
We will never see
If we don't stop looking
For it in greed
I write to set my soul free
I write to reach society
I write to stand
For my beliefs
I write for those
Who are never heard
And seldom seen
I write because I know
Peace can be
I write to simply
Just be me
