In a world so absurd
I write to make a stand
For those who can't
Stand for themselves
I write to show the me
You never bothered to see
I write to set myself free
I write to free my soul
And make others see
The true reality
That is you and me
And is lost in our insane society
We are told what to think
And what to believe
By a media that controls society
For nothing but power and greed
But if you ask me
I would rather live free
And for myself think
And believe
In the possible peace
Tomorrow may bring
