You look at a world of suffering
And ask why you should care
That others lives are unfair
I look at a world of suffering
And I cry
As I wish that I
Knew what I could to
To show that world
The compassion I feel inside
Hate, disease, and war
This is what plagues the world
Out side our door
And I wish that the rest of the world
Would just do more to help
Instead of just think about themselves
