Can you hear it calling
The sanity
That misses society
Thousands of years
Of an eye for an eye
Making us all blind
Don't you think
It's time to learn to see
With each year we see
Instead of older
We just seem
To get colder
We don't care
Who we have to run over
To get our way
And I will never understand
Why we have to be this way
We are all in this together
Yet instead of fight as one
It's always the same old song
Instead of love and respect
We all seem to fear each other
And fight until for mercy
Some one does beg
In my opinion we were not made
To justify the wars we wage
But to learn from each other
My philosophy why hate
When we can learn from
And appreciate
