Life ain't easy
And it kills me to see
So many families
Living on the street
Just hoping
For a bite to eat
While the well off
Refuse to see
Our nations
True reality
Life isn't fair
And they
Pretend to care
But I wish they knew
That the problem starts
With me and you
If you look at those
Who have nothing left
And try to justify
Sitting on your ass
Instead of trying to help
Then you are part of the problem
Instead of the solution
One person can make a difference
So please swallow your pride
And do what in your heart
You know is right
